Like Hans says, it’s probably your audio card. After a bit of troubleshooting I realized that it was due to the IE8.

Maybe this will help? I was getting j6400 glitches in my audio on my Latitude and figured out it was the wireless card refreshing that caused the problems, in fact I could create the problem whenever I wanted by manually refreshing the card. Search the forums for “realtek” and you’ll get a lot of suggestions about how you might be able to fix it.
